The steps to growing healthy hair are simple.
Here are a few tips that I lived by.
Get your ends trimmed regularly:
Trimming split ends and damaged hair keeps hair from breaking off and allows the hair to maintain length and grow longer
Keep your hair clean and moisturized:
Hair grows best from a clean scalp.
Water is the best moisturizer. Apply oils to hair while damp or wet to seal the moisture in.
Only detangle wet or damp hair:
Tightly coiled hair is not elastic when it is dry. Trying to detangle it while it’s dry only causes trauma and breakage.
Spritz a little water on first if you are having trouble getting the comb through your hair.
Style your hair based on your own curl pattern and lifestyle:
Just like fingerprints, no two people have the exact same curl pattern and texture.
Learn to work with your own texture and style it based on what works best for you.
Don’t get caught up trying to make your hair look like someone else’s.
Your hair is beautiful the way it grows out of your scalp:
You are perfect just the way you are. So is your hair.
